Choose your eSIM before you go

Check four things: your device, data allowance, hotspot and activation.

01 / Check your device first

Check the complete model and sales-region variant against the provider’s device list, and confirm that your phone is carrier-unlocked. Do not rely on the brand or the age of the phone alone.

02 / Installation and validity are separate

Check the selected plan’s start trigger and activation deadline. Japan and Singapore pages describe a supported-network trigger and 90-day activation window; the Bangkok source lists 180 days. Do not generalize one destination’s rules to every plan.

After arrival, follow the installation instructions to select the eSIM for mobile data and configure data roaming as directed. Check separately with your original carrier about retaining SMS and any roaming charges.

03 / Fixed allowance or unlimited

Choose a fixed allowance for the whole trip and a validity at least as long as your stay. Unlimited plans may be throttled under fair-use policies. Confirm specific limits for video calls, hotspot sharing or large downloads.

04 / Check four things at checkout

Check destination coverage, data and validity, hotspot conditions, and the final currency and total. Our button opens Yesim; select the matching plan there. TopCardX does not take payment, install eSIMs or see your orders.
