Start with your residence status, then how you pay. The four editions below have application rules covering Singapore, with different document, account and approval requirements. Visiting Singapore does not establish eligibility.

ether.fi CashCore international virtual

First virtual card $0 or $10 by region

Conditions and fee details

The newer first-card fee FAQ lists AR, AO, BD, BO, CO, EC, ID, MY, MX, NG, PE, PH, ZA and TH at $10; the first card is normally free elsewhere. Additional cards after the allowance cost $10. An older limits page also lists HK, GB and SG as charged: check the regional Add Card quote before ordering. No physical card included.

Merchant dynamic currency conversion (DCC) can add charges outside this exemption.

Check your residence eligibility

Bitget Wallet APAC accepts citizens or qualifying residents of Singapore and specified markets. Its resident route requires an employment pass and address evidence, with identity documents valid for at least three more months. Use the separate Physical card flow for that edition.

ether.fi explicitly lists Singapore, subject to account verification and compliance checks. This guide covers its international Core virtual edition. MEXC Global permits applications outside its restricted and limited-access markets; Singapore is outside both, but Advanced KYC and a genuine residential address still apply.

Physical card or phone payments?

For inserted-card payments, the Bitget Wallet APAC physical edition costs $49 including international shipping. It does not support ATM withdrawals in Singapore, so it is unsuitable if local cash access is your main need. For online or phone payments, compare virtual editions before paying for a physical card.

The ether.fi and MEXC entries here are virtual editions, with no physical-card benefits included. ether.fi’s latest regional first-card fee page differs from its older limits overview. Treat a normally free first card in Singapore as provisional and check the Add Card quote before confirming.

What matters for SGD spending?

Local purchases are usually billed in SGD. A USD card’s exemption for USD purchases does not make SGD purchases free. Compare conversion charges and FX markup in the table, then expand the conditions for exchange rates and other costs. Do not offset them with a headline reward rate before checking eligibility.

MEXC Global normally charges 1% per purchase with Visa rates and no extra FX markup. Its October 2026 hub advertises conditional purchase-fee waivers: check account eligibility before applying or spending. Do not extend September terms or assume a year of free transactions. The issuance waiver is separate.

Choose the next check by use: physical-card support for inserted payments, wallet support for phone payments, non-USD fees for SGD spending, or the local eligible-spend cap for rewards. The full-comparison link keeps the Singapore residence filter.
